For more than 25 years, I’ve been working with authors and publishers offering a variety of services to publicize and market their books.

My public relations firm provides comprehensive publicity and marketing campaigns to radio, TV, print and digital media. I also offer marketing strategies and consultations for self-published books.

I work with a diverse array of clients, from New York Times bestselling authors, to first time authors of self-published books. My clients have included physicists, poets, priests, psychiatrists, and philosophers, shamans and MDs; international artists and musicians; world class photographers, healers, and writers of revolutionary works that are changing the world.

BIO

Eileen Duhné is a publicist and publishing consultant based in the San Francisco Bay Area. For the past 25 years, her full service public relations firm has provided authors and publishers with comprehensive marketing campaigns that include both local and national publicity.

She has worked with everyone from New York Times bestselling authors, to first time authors of self-published books. Prior to launching a career in publishing, Eileen represented Hollywood actors like Liam Neeson and Broadway stars such as Julie Andrews and Roddy McDowell.

Her background in radio broadcasting, advertising, publishing and distribution, prepared her for a future in book promotion and publicity. As a radio DJ in the San Francisco Bay Area, Eileen worked at KSJO, KTIM and KCBS-FM. Her radio career included writing and producing daily newscasts and interviews and producing Livewire, a radio magazine show with Sheila Rene. She also worked on publicity projects for musicians like James Brown and Paul McCartney, and affiliated music organizations. When Eileen joined the staff of a large advertising agency in San Francisco, she served as the coordinator of the agency’s research department and director of its burgeoning multimedia division. Eileen later moved to Hollywood where she worked on PR campaigns for film and television projects.

In 1992, she moved back to Northern California and worked as director of publicity and marketing for a book distribution company where she oversaw advertising and marketing campaigns for over 200 publishers. Over the past 25 years, she has promoted books by authors such as Quincy Jones; Horst Rechelbacher, the founder of Aveda; Stephen Dinan, the founder of The Shift Network; the SF Giants; award-wining photographers; and #1 New York Times bestselling author Mark Nepo, one of Oprah's favorite writers. She has also promoted books and projects by new literary and spiritual voices and indie publishers, in both traditional and new publishing platforms. Eileen specializes in mind/body/spirit, new sciences, and non-fiction titles.
